It all started back on 2003, When a close friend asked if I could help his brother move disco gear on a Friday and Saturday night while his brother was getting over a bad back… I realised why his brother had hurt his back!
All ‘mobile’ disco gear back then was designed to be installed and not mobile at all. Speakers weighed around 42kg and lights not much less. but I quickly realised after the first few discos that I would be weightlifting and forfeit sleep most weekends for the buzz of becoming a DJ.
I started learning with CD’s then after a few years, moved to vinyl and took advantage of working along side some amazing local DJ’s to learn as much as I could from them.
Forward through many fun events to 2012, When I hung up my headphones for family life, children and marriage.
Sadly, in 2021, after the loss of my good friend and DJ mentor I decided to pick up my headphones again in his honour and continue his legacy.
